 "Battle Symphony" is an online cum offline singing competition, as the Pandemic COVID - 19 denies to slow down, we have to accept these situations as new normal, and move forward with our endeavors and make with the challenges accordingly as we move forward, we as SPArC have tried our best to engineer this competition so that it can be performed smoothly and safely.  Battle Symphony has 2 rounds - 1.Prelims ( Online through videos ) 2. Finals ( Offline at auditorium ) on 16th October 2020. Adab Nawa — Karim City College's very own Literature Fest! The winged hourglass flies by in one breath when one is enveloped within the warmth, enlightenment, and adrenaline that the lushness of lamp-lit literature brings forth. Adab Nawa, a SPArC organised event, is all about days worth of literary geniuses and presentations, interviews, story-telling sessions, praising poetry, and musical shayaris. Introduced from the year 2019, this concept fences a combination of five events, competitive and non competitive, most of which were previously organised individually, namely — Raavi, Bazm-e-Shayari, Bait Baazi, Meet The Author and Mukaalma. Raavi — It's a day weaved with the narration of self composed short stories in three different languages — Hindi, English, and Urdu. We...the Poets 2019

  A bit of poetry lives in all of us, but only a few can pen it down. For the poets who among us dwell, Society for Promotion of Art and Culture , also known as SPArC , annually conducts a multilingual self-composed poetry contest called — "We . . . The Poets", in four different languages, namely Hindi, English, Urdu and Bangla, alluring not only eager, and earnest participants, but a healthy, poetry enthusiast audience as well. Rules : The students who wish to participate must drop their entries in the SPArC drop box. Their entries should mention their name, roll no., class, language, and contact number. The participants have to bring two copies of their self-composed poetry. The participants are free to choose between any language out of these four — English, Hindi, Urdu and Bengali, but they must stick to the language of their choice, and should not switch back and forth between two, or more languages.

Qalamkaar 2019

To explore the spontaneous creativity carried by the students, Society for Promotion of Art and Culture , commonly known as SPArC, organises Qalamkaar every year. It's a multilingual competitive event that allows us to explore and exploit our skills through the various forms of creative writing — essay, poetry, short story, etc., in any of the four different languages — Hindi, English, Urdu and Bangla, in a duration of one hour . The topic is given on the spot, and the students are given an hour to write their heart out in any literary form they like best. Rules   — The participants must drop their entry, mentioning their name, class, roll no., language and contact number, in the SPArC drop box before the day of the competition. Their piece must be creative and original. It must be completed within the given time limit of an hour. The participants are free to choose between any language out of these four — English, Hindi, Urdu

SPArC Induction 2019

15 year’s legacy continued this year too in Karim City College.The SPArC committee held the first event on Sunday18 th August, 2019.The SPArC Induction was  held to inculcate the spirit for the promotion of art and culture in newly admitted students of BA, B.Sc, B.Com and MCVP.The interested students were given forms to join various clubs according to their interest and personal choices. The Students were also given opportunities to participate in the orientation program according to their interest and different clubs held different introduction rounds for the students. The total number of students participated in the event was round 150. The faculty members, non–teaching staffs and volunteers witnessed the event. The Convener  Prof. S.M.Yahiya Ibrahim addressed the event and encouraged the students to be a part of SPArC and to witness the change in themselves and also to witness the advantage of working in a group and said that it will work in the development o
